Second place prize for the 2018 Portsmouth Abbey Arts and Science Expo

There is a symmetry between roots sinking into the earth and branches reaching towards the sun. They are like the ends of a battery, oppositely charged yet essential for the continuation of an energy cycle. This series hopes to illustrate the chaotic edges and lines that compose the organic, symmetrical powerhouses around us.
